On Monday the 7th of July Tiesto kicked off the 2008 summer season with the first official opening party of Ibiza in club Privilege. A stunning live performance, that almost tore the roof of the biggest club in the world, set the standard for this summer.
His weekly residency, every Monday night in Privilege, Ibiza will continue until the closing party on the 22nd of September, but before he gets there, Tiesto will tour extensively through Europe; also visiting the Middle East and Canada in the meantime. The variety in shows will be enormous, with a schedule that features large, well known festivals, exclusive venues and locations and even a few club shows. The schedule will reveal all the details everybody needs to know. Ticket links will of course be published when available. The recently released mix compilation of In Search Of Sunrise 7 - Asia now receives Tiesto's full support and will be his and your soundtrack for this summer season!

MINISTRY OF SOUND COMES TO HONG KONG IN JULY

After the success of the first Ministry of Sound nights appearing exclusively at Beijing Club, the internationally known club brand will be returning to the three storey super-club on the 24th July (Thursday) 2008 and will have a subsequent residency at Beijing Club.

Stuart Patterson, known as a 'real' house DJ, and the legendary Faith night and Fanzine (www.faithfanzine.com), will be spinning the best house tunes from around the globe.

Not just being a DJ has given Stuart Patterson an incredibly all-rounded perspective on the industry. With over 10 years of experience behind him in the London club scene, he hosts his own nights, where he invites some of the world's top house jocks like Kerri Chandler and DJ Pierre to represent his stance on the scene.

Beijing Club, located in the centre of the city, has now confirmed a series of Ministry of Sound nights throughout 2008, including some special guest appearances.

U2 - 'NEW YEAR'S DAY' (FERRY CORSTEN REMIX) TO BE RELEASED

In 1999 Ferry Corsten was asked to remix the U2 classic 'New Year's Day'. The result became an amazing remix, which never saw an official release! U2's record company Universal is going to release a remastered deluxe version of the U2 album 'War'. One of the special bonus tracks that can be found on this special album, is the legendary Ferry Corsten remix of 'New Year's Day'. In July the special remastered deluxe "War" album will see a release.

CHRISTOPHER LAWRENCE OFFICIALLY LAUNCHES PHARMACY MUSIC

US DJ and producer Christopher Lawrence officially launches his label Pharmacy Music this month with the single 'Beyond the Limit', a collaboration with fellow trance star John 00 Fleming.

After lengthy delays, Christopher launches Pharmacy Music in response to what he describes as a "glut of bad trance" flooding the market place. By creating the new imprint, he hopes to find an outlet for more quality, underground trance, as well as for younger producers who don't always receive recognition from the major dance labels.

Pharmacy Music is sending out a call to young producers to send their music. "We want to stay on the cutting edge of trance and this often where the new producers can be found" said Christopher Lawrence. "You can send your music to submit@pharmacymusic.com and we'll take a listen".

"Pharmacy Music is an all digital label, which means that music is more immediate than it used to be back in the days of vinyl" says Christopher Lawrence. "We can get a great remix added in days, whereas before it was a lot more work production and distribution wise".

'Beyond the Limit' is the widely anticipated follow up to Fleming & Lawrence's first hit single 'Attention' on J00F and features chart topping remixes by respected US producers Nicholas Bennison, Jay Selway, along with Fektive's San from the Netherlands. The track will be available exclusively thru Beatport until mid June, after which time it can be found at all the major dance portals including iTunes and Trackitdown. New singles will be released monthly.

FULL ON FERRY 2008 DATE ANNOUNCED

That is the attitude of one of the most successful and respected DJ/Producers of our time; Ferry Corsten. Last year he laid down an unforgettable night with 'Full On Ferry' in the Ahoy stadium Rotterdam, together with the organisers at UDC.

The spectacular sets by Christopher Lawrence, Fedde Le Grand, Cosmic Gate, the now-legendary Dutch debut of Breakfast, and of course Ferry, who blasted the stars from the heavens, made this party great. TIESTO ANNOUNCES RESIDENCY AT PRIVILEGE, IBIZA, FOR SUMMER 2008

For the first time in three years Tiesto returns to the island of Ibiza to host his own weekly residency at Privilege.

Tiesto will be the resident every Monday, starting on the 7th of July until the closing party on the 22nd of September. Tiesto will deliver his four hour deejay sets in the style of his 'In Search of Sunrise' series, everything dedicated to the atmosphere that can only be found on the Balearic Islands.

To underline its reputation as biggest club in the world, Privilege has set up a Tiesto customized event for his residency; complete with a totally new and future tech production, a newly designed and customized deejay booth, a full state of the art LED back wall, and the latest new design when it comes to light and video. All this combined with the sound of Tiesto will create an atmosphere, incomparable to any of the club nights on Ibiza and it will without a doubt deliver the highest quality night this summer on the entire island.

Ibiza has always been a source of positive inspiration for Tiesto and in 2007; he named the sixth volume of his In Search of Sunrise series after the island. 'It's the place to be when it comes to the most crazy and energetic parties', he says. On Tuesday, April 8th, 2008 Christopher Lawrence launched a new monthly radio show 'Rush Hour' on Digitally Imported, the World's #1 online dance radio station.

They (along with cohorts Pan-Pot and Ralf Kollman) will be partying on the Town House Hotel's rooftop from midday to 11pm on Saturday 29th March, then the party moves to the Jakmel Art Gallery from midnight until well into the early hours…

Anja Schneider's mobilee crew come to the WMC for two reasons - firstly, to mix tunes and meet and greet (like everyone else) but secondly, because the boss lady has an album to launch in amongst the festivities. This will be a great chance to hear what her first artist album, Beyond The Valley, sounds like before its full release in May. And this is an opportunity to savour - Ms Schneider's infamous for having her finger firmly on the pulse of Berlin's underground music scene. As the host of the Dance Under The Blue Moon Show every Saturday night, she highlights the best deep /minimal / tech going in a very old-school way indeed: she plays records though without mixing for full sonic effect, then helpfully tells her listeners what they are called. After years of hosting successful nighttime parties in Miami, Pacha Ibiza has finally decided to host its first full day/night party!!

On Friday March 28th The Shelborne Hotel and Shine will host the inaugural Pacha Miami Festival. No single venue epitomizes the Miami Winter Music conference more than the Shelborne Hotel, with its stunning pool, trendy bars and stylish club; it is the perfect place to capture the spirit of Pacha Ibiza in Miami.

DANCE VALLEY 2008: A JOURNEY INTO SOUND

(Purmerend, NL) - The 2008 festival season is knocking on our doors, which means festival dates are now pouring in. The latest edition to your busy festival schedule is the Dance Valley Festival. 12th July is the chosen date for another edition for one of the biggest festivals in the Netherlands.

Over the second weekend of July, the recreational area of Spaarnwoude will be flooded with party-goers for the 14th time and it again promises numerous surprises. Dance Valley 2008 will be a musical voyage of discovery along new paths, exiting turns and uncharted areas.

Since most of Holland consists of flat and open plains, the rolling landscape of Spaarnwoude gives it a somewhat non-Dutch feel, and with the giant concrete artworks the surrealistic atmosphere will be complete. Over the last fourteen years the area has proved its potential and this year will be no exception. For the 2008 edition the organisers plan on using the area's natural beauty to the fullest.

However, a little more patience is required before the lineup is revealed. This year, the carousel of artists will be announced in a slightly different way. Each week, UDC will spread a newsletter in which they will announce parts of the lineup. We suggest that you subscribe to their newsletter to be the first to receive the lineup and latest updates on the festival.

To give you a sneak preview on what to expect, the organisation did announce the various areas for the 2008 edition. Along with Ferry Corsten, Christopher Lawrence will appear as a headliner at the official South American Music Conference closing party on Saturday March 8th, 2008.

SAMC is located in Buenos Aires, long regarded the South American dance music capital. Since it's inception in 2003, SAMC has become one of the biggest and most prestigious events on the global dance calendar.

(Miami, USA) - This Spring 2008, America will witness the legacy that is Sasha and John Digweed as they launch their Sasha and John Digweed Spring Club Tour 2008 at the Winter Music Conference on Thursday, March 27th at Mansion. This is the first time that Sasha and John Digweed are touring North America extensively in six years taking them thru 21 cities landing at Coachella on Saturday April 26th where the duo will be headlining the Dance tent.

The last time Sasha and John Digweed toured the US was in 2002 on their infamous Delta Heavy Tour, known as the most important DJ tour to ever hit America. Technically produced like a rock concert, complete with touring sound, lighting, staging and laser and video production Delta Heavy catapulted Sasha & John Digweed into arena headlining status and was attended by more than 85,000 people during its six weeks.

While most DJ tours are all about taking flights from city to city, Sasha and John will be hitting the pavement, bussing it through the country. Sasha and John Digweed are truly bringing their sonic experience back to the people, and this tour offers something for every one of their fans. And because many of these events are taking place in traditional rock venues their shows may start at 9 and end at 2, as opposed to a traditional club night which starts at 2am and ends at 6am.
