DJ Aleksandra Guvernment Canada tech-house techno deep house electro electronic music Aleksandra has peaked on the coveted Beatport charts for her production, "Sibling Rivalry" which she co-produced with her brother Jake Chec. She's opened for the likes of Steve Porter, Alex Kenji and Hatiras. She has been on the same bill as, Sasha, Erick Morillo, Hernan Cattaneo, John Acquaviva, Christopher Lawrence and Ferry Corsten.

By far not a one-dimensional DJ/producer Aleksandra delivers a blend of chunky, rolling, phat tech-house, techno, deep house and electro. This versatility is what keeps Aleksandra one of Canada's fastest risers within its electronic music scene.

Aleksandra has been DJing for seven years and has landed a coveted residency inside The Guvernment (Toronto), but is also in frequent rotation at The Boom Boom Room (Windsor), Footwork (Toronto) and Comfort Zone (Toronto). She has also played throughout Ontario, Quebec, USA and Poland. In addition, she was on the bill for the infamous Freedom event held annually at The Guvernment. However, she also finds the time and devotes her efforts to spinning at numerous charitable events for breast cancer awareness and a local animal sanctuary.

Aleksandra comes from a musical family where she was born in Italy of Polish descent, but raised in Canada. Both her parents are professional musicians with master degrees in music, so it was only natural she pursue it in some way. She currently attends Ryerson University for Business Management and is also a teaching assistant.

Moving forward with her career we'll see more great productions coming out, expanding into the USA, and her mixes continuing to air on the Executive Mix (100.7FM Toronto), Frisky Radio (USA), Night Clip ( Brazil ) and more.

Aleksandra is well on her way to being one of Canada's greatest musical exports showcasing skills and versatility which erupts dance floors everywhere. This combined with a strong work ethic is what keeps her in such high demand.
